What are Orthotics

Demonstrating the benefits of orthotic management in patients with rheumatoid arthritis, sports injuries, diabetes as well as pediatric patients. It allows the viewer to appreciate the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of those conditions affecting the foot and ankle.

The video explains the processes around the casting and manufacture of the various devices that are provided to patients with such pathologies like flat feet and shin splints. Understanding the other adjunct treatments involved in these cases is also important and include stretching exercises and steroid injections.
